Riding Lesson Information
CEC provides english riding lessons specializing in hunters, jumpers, and dressage. Lessons are offered several days a week by our knowledgeable instructors, we try to be very flexible with our students offering flexibility of online scheduling.
We have a variety of school horses to help you progress through the levels. Our students are given the opportunity to attend horse shows throughout the year and the opportunity to lease for further advancement.
Our students first learn basic safety and horsemanship to provide a safe foundation. Students will learn how to catch a horse, tack up, grooming, bathing, learn basic horse care, and horse ownership preparation. This provides a solid foundation for future horse ownership or lease preparation.

Little Rider Privates-
Ages 4-6. A private lesson 1-on-1 with an instructor where your child learns how to be balanced and safe on a horse's back. Fun and safety are the number one priorities for these half hour (30 minute) lessons. 30 minutes ride time and 30 minutes grooming /horsemanship skills.
Introductory/Novice Lessons
Walk/Trot: 6 and up. Perfect for the rider with little to no experience and are new to riding. Basic skills, steering, and safety are the focus for these lessons. Riders must be able to ride and steer unassisted to be eligible to move into group lessons. 30-45 minutes private/semi-private (1- 2 people) or 1 hour (up to four people) in a group lesson.
Beginner Lessons
Walk/Trot/Canter/Groundpoles/Crossrails: Perfect for the rider preparing to canter or cantering. Students at this level are responsible for the entire horse care process, including grooming, tacking, untacking and cooling out their horse. 30-45 minutes private/semi-private (1- 2 people) or 1 hour (up to four people) in a group lesson.

Int-Adv Lessons
Jumping 18" and up. Perfect for students who are cantering courses of 18"and up. Students are grouped by their skill level and jump height. Group lessons are 1 hour or more and students are responsible for the entire horse care process before and after the lessons.

QUICK FACTS
- We bill for our lessons in monthly flat rate increments. Payment is due by the 7th of the month for the current month’s riding session. There is an increased fee for lessons paid individually as opposed to paying for the monthly package.
- Payments made after the 7th of the month will result in a late fee added to your account of $20.00.
- Returned payment fee of $20.00 will be applied for any NSF items or returned ACH drafts.
- Please register online using our online booking system and complete all new student forms before your first lesson (lesson policies, liability release, contact forms)
- If you are using a Groupon please print out the voucher and bring it with you.
- We require a minimum of a 2 month commitment with a 30 day cancellation policy.
